OSON VI, LLC SUPPORTS THE UNIVERSITY OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF VARIOUS PROGRAMS WITH $250,000 CONTRIBUTION

ST. THOMAS, US VIRGIN ISLANDS— December 03, 2013 @ 10:00AM GMT — OSON VI, LLC, through its Managing Partner, Dale LeFebvre, announced that it has made a charitable gift of $250,000 to the University of the Virgin Islands (“UVI”). The monetary gift will be used to establish various programs that will benefit UVI, which include The LeFebvre Endowed Student Fellowship Award ($100,000); the OSON VI, LLC Endowed Fund for Recruitment & Retention at UVI ($100,000); two separate SAT prep summer programs ($25,000); as well as a temporary reserve fund ($25,000), which UVI will use as it sees fit.

For almost 50 years, UVI has thrived in part due to the philanthropic support of its alumni and friends. This gift will allow the UVI to continue to thrive and attract promising students.
